We will still be spoiled by pleasant summer temperatures at the weekend, but there has been a hint of autumn in the air since the end of August. As much as I love summer, I always look forward to fall. For me, October also traditionally includes a nice autumn trip. That's why I've put together my top 10 travel destinations in October for you.

Porto in December - a trip to the pearl of the Atlantic

If Lisbon and Barcelona had a baby, this would be the city: Porto. We traveled to Porto in winter and were immediately captivated by the sunny street cafes, the colorful facades, and the vibrant rhythm of the Douro River. From the very first steps, alleyways full of surprises opened up, and little details and stories awaited us around every corner, inviting us to explore the city piece by piece.
