Summer time sadness

Advertising

Her inside is a disheveled girl with sunglasses that are way too big
White t shirt
That she likes to wear without a bra
And cigarette
Or lollipop?
She likes indie music
And indie films
She loves the seventies and eighties
She spins records in her head
She writes her dreams with her index finger
On the tanned skin of her arm
And in other people's minds

She sees whales and seals in the clouds
swimming and dancing
And they call
She runs a little too fast
And only hesitates in the restaurant at the menu
And dreams in meadows
Under whispering old trees

She likes to get lost in the forest and sunbeams
Found again in ancient stars
She jumps and flies
And her nose squirts soda when she laughs
She loves paintings and philosophy
And science fiction
And everything she doesn't quite understand
But feels so much
she loves
she lives

Alive
Dance her to the concert of my daydreams
She's wild and free and pure and completely insane
But really
Normal never worked for her
So let it flow
what she is
She rests her heavy head in her palms
The wind blows a strand of hair in her face
She loved and she will love again
There's too much love inside her
It flows from your veins
Straight out into the world
And if you could only get to know her
Would you be totally blown away by her
