My top 5 highlights in summer
My heart smiles in summer, Summerheart is the name of one of my favorite bands and I was born in sunny July. An absolute summer child! What do I love about summer? For example, there are the warm nights, midnight ice and very late pink sunsets. The days are getting longer, the nights are getting shorter but all the more intense. Everything comes to life and somewhere suddenly everything is possible. Because so many of my friends and family celebrate their birthdays, July is like an extended Christmas in the middle of summer. I start the birthday marathon at the beginning of the month and that's when things really get going.
Sunflowers
Hardly any other flower can give me such a good mood as the sunflower! I don't know how it manages, maybe because it even resembles the sun visually, reaching out towards it constantly and becoming a little perfect sun itself. Perhaps because it magically breathes life into barren landscapes. In any case, one of my biggest dreams has always been to be able to take photos in a sea of sunflowers one day. And then it was time. Suddenly and totally surprising. Unsuspectingly we drove off on my birthday Sevilla Direction Cadiz when the first yellow oceans flooded the landscape and I couldn't believe my eyes what they saw!
It was beyond overwhelming! And what a coincidence that I even decided on a sunny yellow summer sweater that day. I couldn't imagine a better gift than this moment, which felt like swimming in a field of sunflowers. Dive down, breathe out and back up to the sun, where the best birthday in a long time was waiting for me. Actually, we wanted to go to the beach but the journey was even more spectacular than the arrival itself. That moment showed me clearly that the journey is the real goal. Therefore be vigilant and mindful, do not close your eyes to the present which is so wonderful. Because in the face of sheer goals, you often lose your way. But life isn't a queue, it's an adventure.
Europe in summer
Europe in summer is simply magical. So many countries shine, become even more alive and invite you to wonderful summer stories. So pack your things, book a plane ticket, get on your bike, set sail or take a road trip by car to the sea. Travel light and come back with lots of impressions and memories. You won't regret letting go completely for a few days and simply trusting the path and life.

Satellites flash as if they were winking at you, shooting stars fly from the corner of your eye to the corner of your eye and suddenly everything makes sense. Nowhere do I feel more connected to the universe than under the stars.

Nothing beats refreshing fruits like strawberries, watermelons or papayas in summer. What else is sometimes difficult to imagine at the high temperatures. I have been eating fruit every day for several years. But in summer my fruit diet increases enormously. There are cherries, raspberries and lemons everywhere, which I use to make cool lemonade every now and then. I also like to add a few limes and fresh mint.
