Konnichiwa! It's been a while since I posted my last wishlist. That's mainly because I was traveling for almost all of February and March. During that time, a big dream of mine finally came true: I got to experience Japan during cherry blossom season! And of course, I brought back some fresh air and a few cherry blossoms from the Land of the Rising Sun. I still can't quite believe it! Soon you can expect detailed blog posts about this extraordinary trip, including how to easily organize your own trip to Japan and what to keep in mind. Spring is slowly arriving here too, so in this wishlist, I'm presenting my personal favorites of this beautiful season.
It actually happened! I really lost my favorite hat shortly before leaving the Maldives *cry*.
What would be Petit Chapeau just without a hat?
Exactly: unbelievable! So I'm already looking for new ones that I like and I quickly realized that finding the perfect hat isn't that easy. Although I now have a small collection of hats, none can replace my favorite hat. There are too many memories attached to it for that, but that's the way life is. Everything comes and goes. I found these handmade hats on etsy and fell in love a little bit. How do you find them?
I have this picture in my mind: A blooming field of lavender, a white summer dress and this bag. I already raved about basket bags last summer. They perfect the summery lightness for me! And then I discovered it: The Gabriella Straw Bag by Michael Kors! Description: elegant, cute, just perfect and sold out! Whaaaat?! Jaw was low at first. And I've been hunting ever since. I found a similar specimen in Tokyo and still I can't get Gabriella out of my head. Gabriella, oh Gabriella my great love! Where are you? If you see her, please write to me. But I went looking for similar bags and on the Michael Kors website you can currently find a couple of nice straw bags in the current collection.
In addition to hats, I also have a great soft spot for unusual glasses. Why? Because they quickly make even a simple outfit interesting and are always an eye-catcher. I particularly like this model by Yves Saint Laurent.
In April, the weather is known to do what it wants. Therefore, transitional clothing is not a bad idea now. This cute coat is currently available on ChicWish, but I've never ordered anything there before. Have any of you had experience with this online shop? I always find it difficult to find nice coats in Germany, but I don't like to order from abroad. Maybe this time I'll make an exception.
You know those books that you read over and over again and just can't get enough of? That's how I feel about the book "The Butterfly House" by Alexandria Brunkhorst. Luckily, like almost every one of my favorite books, I found it many, many years ago in the rummage table among the defective copies in my trusted bookstore and learned to love it. So I want to read it again this spring. A small wish with a big effect! What makes the book so special? The bittersweet atmosphere that runs through the whole novel. The inevitable melancholy of a good story. But read for yourself and let yourself be carried away by this magical story.
