English Church โ€“ Romance and history among giant sequoias

Nestled amidst majestic sequoias and mature trees in the heart of the spa gardens, a small architectural gem rises: the English Church of Bad Wildbad. Built in 1865, this church, with its neo-Gothic style, evokes the atmosphere of a medieval village church and lends every wedding a special, solemn, and intimate ambiance. It once served the numerous English spa guests who held their services here during the summer months until 1914. Today, the church is used for a variety of cultural events and has established itself as one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the Black Forest.

The rose garden in the spa park โ€“ pure nature and romance

Situated on a hill in the spa park and adorned with Roman-style statues, the rose garden offers a magical outdoor location for champagne receptions and unforgettable photo shoots. We even had our after-wedding shoot here with our lovely wife. Lena Usenko and couldn't be happier with their choice of location. The garden's open layout allows for flexible arrangements: from an intimate, informal wedding ceremony to a grand celebration with many guests, many things are possible. Particularly convenient: the proximity to the aviary and the spa building makes planning the subsequent reception or party much easier.

Getting married in the birdhouse โ€“ right next to the rose garden in the spa park

The idyllic, fairytale-like birdhouse is reminiscent of a Black Forest cuckoo clock. Even from the outside, it piques curiosity, but the real surprise awaits inside. This Art Nouveau building, over 125 years old, is much larger than it initially appears and can accommodate up to 70 guests. Since May 2025, it has also been possible to hold wedding ceremonies here: flooded with light and featuring unique wooden elements, this wedding location is perfect for couples who dream of a wedding surrounded by nature while still having the conveniences of a nearby town.

This magnificent bathhouse, named after King Karl I of Wรผrttemberg, is one of the most impressive of its kind in Baden-Wรผrttemberg. Numerous original murals, stained glass windows, sculptures, artistic tiles, and wood paneling from the time of its construction lend the hall an incomparably romantic flair.

The stairwell and the domed hall on the upper floor create a particularly impressive setting.
